This drawing is based on a photo of me and My Boy, Snip, riding bareback. I did a great job on drawing him, but I did a horrible job on myself. This represents me and him together. My love for him.
This was drawn back in 2010 in my drawing class, when I was going to college down here in South Texas. On the right, is the collage of pictures that the collage drawing is based on. It’s called “The Heart of Me” because they’re all things that represent me or are a part of me in some way. I had so much fun drawing this. My professor said he had never seen a drawing be so crowded, but so neat. It’s so neat because the borders of each picture are drawn dark and precise. There are some parts of the collage that are more my favorite than other parts. My favorites are the horse in the upper left hand corner, the owl scene in the lower right hand corner, the big tiger in the top center, and the sunlight in the center of the picture.
