The Truth

The words were really flowing here. I wrote this several years ago.

The Truth:

Wild and free you set me free,

To show me the path to eternity!

Now you cast me out,

Yet you call me a layabout,

I show you the truth,

And you say I’m uncouth,

Yet I am the truth!

Wings of Hope

A fantasy poem I wrote in 2004.

Wings of Hope:

Shining, bright, and gleaming,

Golden brilliance—golden light,

Blue, blue sky—a white winged horse flying by,

Beautiful blue eyes shining with freedom,

White mane and tail flying,

Gleaming white body—shine shine shine,

Golden hooves kicked up in fun-loving joy,

White feathered wings flap hard in happiness,

White wings of hope—of freedom,

Brought to the oppressed,

Wings of Hope lifts those up in need of hope,

And dashes down the unjust,

Wings of Hope, gives hope to us all.
