Flopsy: “Reporting to you from SiennaTigerlily’s bedroom, today is December 17, 2018, and it is a Monday, and my name is Flopsy the White Bunny. These are my co-hosts, Jake the Ape, Peanuts the Elephant, and Ducky Buttons the Yellow Duck. We’re here to bring you the latest news from South Texas.
For the news this evening:
Pertaining to the news in Cooking, there is a new donut out at Shipley’s Donuts made out of the Angelica, the Brahea, and the Cup Flower with sprinkles of the Escallonia on top for decoration. The new pie that just came out at HEB is named the Flame and Fire Thistle for its ingredients of the Flame Vine, the Firespikes, and the Globe Thistle. And lastly, at the Pancake House, there is a new pancake out made out of Hackberry, Lychee, and Masterwort. The syrup that goes with it is made out of Osmunda. That’s it for the Cooking News! See you tomorrow.”
Peanuts: “For this evening in the Celebrity News, Michelyne the Tawny Eagle finished her album “The Craziness is Here”. It will be released in stores tomorrow. Miles the Glossy Ibis completed his first movie “Running Wild”. “Running Wild” comes out in theatres in two days. Monroe the Green Heron bought his first car a black Lamborghini that he named Demon. He immediately took it out for a test drive and ended up getting a ticket because he wasn’t paying attention to the speed limit. He was going 60 mph in a 20 mph zone. The ticket was $500 and he had to appear in court for it. He did so, got the ticket, paid it, and a couple hours later, got a second one for once again not paying attention. And again he appeared in court. He never learns. And so that’s all for the Celebrity News. See you tomorrow.”
Ducky Buttons: “Tonight in Sports, we’ll be covering sledding, rowing, and ultimate frisbee. In sledding the field consisted of Monroe the Honey Badger, Morton the Killer Whale, Myron the Malachite Kingfisher, and Nadine the Least Chipmunk. It was neck and neck for awhile with all of them, but then a sudden stroke of luck shot Nadine forward at the last 50 feet of the one mile race making her the winner. And so, it was Nadine, then in second Morton, and then third Monroe. For rowing, it was the Australian Sea Lions against their long-time rivals, the Californian Sea Lions. Out of the two mile race, the Australian Sea Lions beat the Californian Sea Lions by 15 feet. In ultimate frisbee there was no question who would win. Nash the Little Blue Penguin went up against Newt the Little Heron and beat him easily. Obviously, Newt was not at the top of his game tonight. That’s it for Sports! See you tomorrow.”
Jake: “The Weather this evening is, a very foggy 51 degrees Fahrenheit with a feel of 51 degrees, along with a dense fog advisory and a WNW wind at 1 mph. Today there was a high of 74 and a low of 50. It will remain a constant fog until 4AM at which time it will turn cloudy and then an hour later partly cloudy and basically remain like that for the early morning. The temperature for the rest of the night will range from 50 to 51 degrees, with a feel of the same. The wind will range from being an E or ENE for the rest of the night with a constant wind of 1 mph. So an interesting night with the fog advisory. And so, the Weather is all done for the night. See you next time.”
Jake, Flopsy, Peanuts, and Ducky Buttons: “That’s all for the news tonight! See you tomorrow.”
The End for today.
